How to Make $100,000 Dollars as a Personal Trainer ű Part B for Business!

August 12th, 2007

My name is Greg Ryan. For the last twenty years I have counseled thousands of personal trainers, fitness directors and gym owners on how be successful in the health and fitness industry. No matter where I go in the world, no matter the size of the gym the biggest reason for their lack of success is all the same. My question is, “Do you want to be a mediocre Personal Trainer or do you want to be a GREAT one?

Most of you will only be good ones if you are lucky. Only about five percent of you will be GREAT. What I mean by being a great personal trainer falls into three categories: love what you do, self employed and make a six figure income consistently. Here is how:

Part B: B is for Business

When running a personal training business there are four virtues you want to live by; Honestly, Authenticity, Modesty, and Generosity.

Honesty

When someone asks you a question about exercise, fitness, or a health in general, it is ok to say, “I do not know the answer to that.” Don’t stop there, close the deal. Find the correct answer, and explain your findings. That action will give you more brownie points and build more credibility than anything.

Authenticity

The more transparent you can be, the more your clients, players and customers will respect you. I do not paint them a pipe dream picture.

Modesty

Keep your head on straight. As in golf, you are only as good as your last shot or your last client.

Generosity

Give people more than they expect in service. Write articles, go food shopping, what every it takes to keep a client happy and getting results.

Here is the Intro to my e-book – “It’s NOT about the Numbers!”

This book focuses on the client side of the personal training industry; however you must not deny the business side of your career. There are a few things worthy of mentioning that should be taken serious when running a company like the structure of the business, marketing, and professionalism, Yes, being a personal trainer is running a company. You are the company. You are the business, so you need to take yourself serious and treat it as a business.

Being a professional fitness trainer is just that. You are a professional. It is a business so treat it as serious as if you were in any other business. Whether you make one hundred dollars a year, or thousands it does not matter. If you take what you are doing serious your clients will too.

Think like a CEO

A trainer and coach who are sold out should act no different than a CEO of a company. You are a CEO, so then think like one.

Mindfulness and Creativity - The Wow of Wonder

August 11th, 2007

You are so creative.

Don’t deny it. Whether or not you consider yourself a creative type, the truth is that you are constantly creating ideas.

Mindfulness invites you to be aware of this constantly flowing river, and offers an opportunity to choose to sit beside it instead of swimming in it. By watching the ideas from that calm riverbank, you can more clearly see the ones that float to the top and sparkle in the sun.

But mindfulness is more than just mind watching mind. When we are engaged in the process of creating–whether that’s words, numbers, music, art, or movement–without getting swept up in the concept of where it might be leading, that is a very pure form of mindfulness.

If creating is mindfulness in action, the little push that gets things moving is the thrill of discovery. As humans, we are fascinated by novelty, and we are pulled by our joy of seeing something in a new light.

Mindfulness allows us to approach the world with childlike wonder, to play with new concepts, and to see things from a shifted perspective. You can’t always engage in new activities, but through mindfulness, you can look at the same-old same-old with fresh eyes.

The Wow of Wonder is what stimulates us to be creative. Without it, we are likely to come down with our culture’s most prevalent malady–mindlessness. Mindlessness causes us to move through life without really connecting to any of it. It’s living on auto-pilot. It’s living without wonder–or fun.

Here’s a helpful reminder: fun is good. We don’t have to make mindfulness HARD. There is nothing hard about it. We were incredibly mindful and creative as children, and guess what? We had a lot more fun then, too!

The things that captivated you as a child were objects and ideas that triggered your sense of wonder. You noticed something new, and jumped right into the Wow of Wonder. And there were plenty of things that elicited that response every single day.

A bug you’d never seen. A card trick. Something under a microscope. A new musical instrument. A dance move. A song. An animal. A poem. A historical fact. A new flavor of candy.

Mindfulness is a catalyst for wonder. You notice something. An idea is sparked. A distinction is made. A perspective shifts. There is a fullness in that moment, ripe with possibilities but unburdened by expectations.

The Wow of Wonder is what allows us to transcend what we “know” and float in that river of ideas without sinking under the weight of evaluation. In our most mindful moments, it is wonder that saves us from overthinking and keeps things light.

There’s no need to work at making mindfulness a part of your life. It’s already there, and you can glimpse it in all of your favorite memories. Being right there in the moment, full of wonder, and playing with discovery–this is you being a creative person!

Pay attention to your moments of fun, and you’ll see that there’s a hefty dose of mindfulness in there. You are smiling. You are fully present. You are creating ideas and responses. You feel alive.

Becoming mindful is simply getting reconnected to wonder about the world and your place in it. Look for the Wow of Wonder, and you’ll find yourself immersed in mindfulness.

Isn’t it wonder-ful?

Memory Timebox

August 11th, 2007

Being the youngest in a family of eight didn’t leave much time…or funding for extravagant birthday parties that included balloons, hats or goody bags. We had the usual birthday cake from a box, candles and the “Happy Birthday Song,” and finances permitting - we received gifts from our parents.

I recall one birthday that my father wasn’t home. An Army Sergeant, he spent many weeks on end in “the fields” or drill for his particular duty station. Upon his return, he brought me a very large cardboard box. It wasn’t wrapped, a little warped, and most of the flaps were open. As a wide-eyed 6-year old, I was of course, intrigued by the contents. Pulling back one of the flaps, I peered down inside the container. The base of the box was lined with tiny, used plastic toy soldiers, a few matchbox cars, some lego blocks and a Batman car that traditionally shot “missiles.” However, since the missiles were missing, we accessorized the little, black vehicle with toothpicks - which worked quite well.

We didn’t have a lot of money for a lot of things, but the big, cardboard container with used toys seems to linger in my timebox of precious memories. As a matter of fact, the miscellaneous odds and ends were the perfect gifts for an inquisitive blond-curled tomboy.

As we all matured, my sisters and I proceeded having our own families. One of our primary goals was to give our children ALL the things we didn’t have or couldn’t afford. And as much material things I personally gave my children, I still wanted to incorporate a “special” memory timebox that they, too, may retain in years to come.

I made certain that both my children had ‘real’ birthday parties - hats, goody bags, the whole works. But what made their special day - ’special,’ was the flying of the balloons. So what’s so unique about letting balloons go into the air? From the time my children were able to write with crayons, I would purchase small 3×5 ruled, index cards, plastic ziplock baggies, ribbon and helium balloons on their birthdays. Depending on how old they were turning, was how many helium balloons I would buy. I began first by having them write a small note, “Dear Friend, my name is …, and I am hoping that my little balloon will find its way to you. If you find my note, please write me at…., God Bless You, ….” After writing their note, name and address, we would meticulously slip the 3×5 card into a ziplock baggie, seal it and attach a separate note to each balloon. At the ‘end’ of their birthday party, my kids would excitedly run outside to lift off their balloons. One at a time, we would watch red, blue, green, yellow, purple and orange balloons spiral into the vast, open sky.

Throughout the years, up until their 12th birthdays, we would fly the balloons to signify their special days. Additionally, we knew that although modern technology allows us to instantly communicate, that perhaps, just one of the balloons would make it into someone else’s hands. One year after my son’s 9th birthday, he received a letter from a teenage girl that lived in a neighboring state. The hand-written envelope was addressed to my son, and came from North Carolina. As he carefully opened the sealed envelope, I knew that this was a response from one of his balloons. Sure enough, the letter explained how the little balloon had made its way into a farm field over 400 miles away. The teenage girl wrote how her father, a farmer, had been ploughing his wheat fields when he stumbled upon a red balloon with a little note attached to it. Amazed at his finding, he brought it home to his 17-year old daughter who quickly responded to my son.

For years, my kids would anxiously await more responses. Although we didn’t get a response for every balloon we sent, somehow, I know that another individual will one day stumble upon one of their little notes from the past. And perhaps, one day, they will receive yet another response.

It is my belief that the simple things we do, give and say are the happiest and most treasured moments of our lives. My teenage kids often remark about the balloon flights and still hold those times dear to their hearts. In essence, they now have their own memory timebox, as I will always have mine.

Choosing An Accurate And Reliable Personality Assessment

August 11th, 2007

Ever wondered why you always end up in the wrong job or the worst relationships, even when they seemed so promising going in? It can be especially confusing when there doesn’t really seem to be anything wrong with the work or the other person, just that things never did seem to take off or click. Well, maybe it’s not the work or your prospective partners - maybe you just don’t have a clear understanding of who you really are in the first place - your personality type, your risk aversion levels, your tendencies and the underlying assets, preferences and issues in your make-up that you may not be taking into consideration. But how do you go about “finding yourself” without embarking on a navel-gazing and soul-searching journey of epic proportions (which, face it, few of us have the time for)?

One of the best places to start is personality assessment. There are literally thousands of different assessments available, often on the Internet where they are either free (although often in an abbreviated form from their full fee access) or at a reasonable charge. A quality test can help you map your personality makeup as a whole and perhaps tease out previously hidden factors in your mindset or behavior that may affect your decision making, your overall job and life satisfaction in given situations and your choices.

There are many website and hard-published assessments which can help you identify your strengths and weaknesses, and where your personal gifts lay. However, you have to pay attention and steer clear of “recreational” assessments and quizzes if you are looking for an accurate and predictive overview, especially on the Internet. To be truly useful, a personality assessment must meet three criteria:

It must be empirical and accurate
This means that the test is based on scientifically designed questions that are proven to be predictive (by having known personality types take the test, and checking for correlation in the results).

It must be normed
This means that when the assessment results are tabulated as a group, the number and pattern of personality types it presents must be representative of the general population who are likely to be taking the test. This is done by testing a representative sample, graphing the test results and then matching the results against a scientifically predicted bell curve for that particular population. Note that if an assessment is designed for a specific, narrow population (such as law enforcement cadets, engineers or abused women), it will produce results that are skewed from the general population norm, but which can be internally predictable and normed within that narrowly defined group.

It must be reliable and consistent
This means that the test must return the overall same pattern of results for the same person taking it repeatedly, even if their answers differ slightly from day to day due to normal moods and perceptions. This also means that the greater the number of questions, the more likely it is to be accurate (assuming it was created by trained individuals). A large pool of questions (from which the actual test is randomly generated) allows a little “wriggle room” for slightly different answers, plus allows for plenty of “cross-check” questions which ask essentially the same things, but from different perspectives and with different wording. Often an assessment will be tested for internal consistency by giving the same individuals half of the test questions (say, all the odd numbered questions). The test result is tabulate, and then the other half of the questions is given and the results compared. If both halves produce essentially identical results, the test can be considered internally consistent.

There are innumerable “fun” tests out there, from “Are you a good kisser?” to assessments designed to look scientific but which, in effect, tell you what you want to hear (along the lines of fake horoscopes and palm readings at the fair) and only after you sign into their “members-only results” area, as a means to procuring your email address. Or they give you a free low-content, vague and essentially useless answer, and then offer to send you the full results if you sign up for their product or course. Of course, there are several respected and reliable assessment companies that also offer a two-tiered membership approach (free scaled back test, and membership-fee full service and content version), so you need to be able to differentiate between the two.

Many well-respected assessments, especially the popular ones such as the MAPP (Motivational Appraisal of Personal Potential), the Myers-Brigg Type Indicator or the DISC (Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Conscientiousness) Profile, charge quite a bit for the full service. But this is only fair, as they are the result of literally years of research, proprietary information gathering, intellectual property creation and relentless testing, not to mention countless man-hours of work. Also, many of these high-quality and scientifically validated tests are so complicated, and the results so open to misinterpretation by the layperson, that in order to get the full benefit and usefulness of the test it needs to be administered by, and the results personally reviewed and discussed with, a trained administrator.

The results you get from these fee-paid assessments are generally worth the money, if you have it. If you don’t, you can still find several small or scaled back assessments that give reasonably detailed and accurate results for free, or for a nominal registration fee. Another way to get a proper assessment on the cheap is to take one offered in a book, either purchased or loaned out from your local public library. Many assessments can be found in hardcopy form and even if they lack the depth of a professionally administered version, they can be taken and the results studied and interpreted at your leisure. Of course, as with the Internet versions, you have to critically judge the content and accuracy of any book-bound personality assessment you take.

What you find out about yourself once you’ve competed a few assessments may shock you. Or it may simply confirm suspicions you’ve had all along. Either way, by actively and consciously using the information you have gained, you will stand a far better chance of creating and maintaining a quality and style of living that works for you rather than against you - and that’s an assessment we can all live with.

Reach Your Goals - The Fine Art Of The End Run

August 10th, 2007

Perfect the fine art of the end run

From time to time, the path to your goals is going to run smack into someone else’s version of reality, which they may not be happy to have you “play through.”  In these cases, shift your direction of movement off-road and work around, rather than through, the problem.  There are two important points to remember when doing an end run:

Win-win is always better than win-lose, even if you have to work harder.  Burnt bridges can come back to haunt you later.

Creating your own version of reality, which is non-negotiable, is vital to a successful end run.

Example: You need a day off from your day job to make a goal-related trip or get some work done.  You can either ask “Can I have a day off?” (…to which we can all guess the likely answer), or you can do an end run around their arguments and objections by simply stating “I’ve got to go out of town next month.  Which is better for you, Wednesdays or Thursdays?” This creates the new reality (you will be out of town one day next month), but leaves those in charge still feeling in charge (win-win) by getting to pick the best day for you to do so.  If they say that neither is good, then you counter with a set span of days by which you have to have this done (”I have to have this out of the way no later than the fifth”) and let them deal with that.

Similar end-run approaches to different goals are definitely achievable.  If you need a permit to open a business and the town council says that there are no such permits available, end-run solutions would include building outside the city limits or running a local campaign (backed by other city businesses) to change the laws.  An end run around a college that doesn’t offer your preferred major would be to create an independent study course in that field or to use a distance-learning college to flesh out the core classes you’re taking on campus.

Does this always work? Of course, nothing in life is ever guaranteed.  But with this new reality framework, your odds are way better than with simple “yes or no” questions, which have a base 50% chance of “no” right off the bat.  To be effective, you must instill your actions with a mature approach that puts you on the same level as the person you’re talking to.

How to Become a Great Leader & Improve Your Leadership Skills

August 10th, 2007

A great leader is able to inspire his/her workers to work harder. Instead of firing workers, great leaders know how to fire his/her worker up to do their best.

Your leadership skill will determine the size of your business, company and even your position at your work place. I read the book of 1st Samuel and 2nd Samuel from the Holy Bible, from those books; If you have the chance to read them, please read them, they are not that long to read, and what you learn from the books will change the way you relate to other people.

These are qualities of a great leader. Read them, remember them, apply them, teach them and you will remember them.

A great leader is open toward learning. He/she usually loves to read. When you ask a great leader about how he/she is doing in their in life today, usually they will tell you that “They are just getting started.” A great leader will constantly aim toward improving his/her self daily. They will seek wisdom and knowledge from every challenges and trials that they are going through.

A great leader knows how to inspire other people around him/her to do their best.

A great leader has no fear to do what’s right and knows to use the right words at the right time. He/she is masterful with his/her words, because he/she knows that what comes out of his/her mouth matters.

A great leader knows how to appreciate differences. Instead of fighting over people’s differences, a great leader knows how to utilize different people’s strength and talent to strengthen his/her organization.

A great leader is willing to take the first step into battle or challenges and others then will follow. He/she doesn’t wait for other people to throw the trash for him/her, he/she usually takes the trash out by him/her self without any body else telling him or her what to do.

A great leader knows how to motivate him/her self. One of the main reasons why so many people are not successful in what they do, it’s because they are unable to motivate themselves. Life is full of challenges and trials, but our ability to deal with our disappointments and to motivate ourselves when we have been knocked down will determine the level of success.

A great leader treats other people as they important. Every body wants to be treated with respect and they want to be appreciated. People want to know that their self-worth is important and a great leader knows how to show a genuine appreciation & complement toward other people.

A great leader will do his/her best at his present position and situation in spite of the challenges, trials and difficulties he/she is facing at the present time. He/she will do his/her best without complaining about their difficult situation. Joseph is a great example of a great leader. You can read it in the book of Genesis.

A great leader knows that there is a beginning in everything. There will be time of preparation, and there will be time for performing. Those who have great preparation usually will do better than those who don’t have preparation. He/she is patient, and he/she is willing to wait during the time of preparation. A baby must learn how to crawl, stand up, walk and then run.

A great leader knows how to teach his/her knowledge to other people. He/she doesn’t mind to teach what they know to other people who are willing to learn what he/she knows. Usually a great leader becomes a great mentor to his/her students.

A great leader is not self-centered. He/she cares about the interest of others. He/she is usually a great servant. Even though he/she is in a high position, he/she doesn’t mind to serve other people.

A great leader writes down his/her goals, so he/she knows where to hit them. You can not hit a goal that doesn’t exist. When you see your goal written out, you will be able to see it and to reach for it. Can you imagine a game of basket ball without the baskets to aim the ball? Even a great shooter needs a target so he/she can hit it. People know that they are great shooters, because they know how to hit the target accurately. Without the target, how can they tell whether they have hit their target accurately? You must have a clear, definite and written out goals of your life if you want to become a great leader!

A great leader is not lazy, he/she is willing to do what ever it takes to grow his/her self to become a better leader.

I believe with all my heart my friends that you also can be a great leader. No body is born a leader, but a great leader is made! You also can choose to grow to become a great leader. Start today in your daily life. Apply these principals in your life and you will see a big difference and change in your life. Take small step each and every that will take you where you want to go, it’s better than standing still and doing nothing.

Do Not Believe In God

August 10th, 2007

God poetry is one of my favorite genres, although I have to confess to being an atheist. Why does an atheist write about God? Because the idea of God is an important one. And the experience of “God” can be life changing - more so than mere belief. That is the point of this first poem.

Do Not Believe In God

Do not believe in god
Do not have faith

SEE GOD
in stars and sunlight
and the face of your lover

HEAR GOD
in wind and waves
and the music of the birds

TASTE GOD
in berries and beer
and meals eaten with friends

SMELL GOD
in flowers and forests
and the air after a storm

FEEL GOD
in snow and sand
and the warmth of a fire

KNOW GOD in love and longing
and your hunger for beauty

RETURN
again and again
returnto these things

FORGET YOUR CHURCHES
They are cages for God
that capture only humans

BELIEF IS HERESY
FAITH IS IGNORANCE
And you are killing love
and truth and beauty
every time you speak his name

God, the one people believe in, is but an invention of man, and as such will change with time. Already, the God of old that said to kill witches (Exodus 22) and ordered the killing of women and children (Joshua 6) is growing into something more loving. To paraphrase Corinthians, “when I was a child, I believed in a small god, when grew up, I gave up childish gods.” This poem started from that idea.

A Child God

God is but a child
Playing with insects.
Sometimes he hates you,
Sometimes he hurts you

But give him your love
Because he needs it.
And forgive him always;
He will learn from your example.

We do not value a child less
Because he is not yet a man.
We nurture him;
We know that he will grow.

So do not worry
Thinking that we are godless.
We have a child-god;
We know that he will grow.

Hold On!

August 9th, 2007

Job was a spiritual man who loved and obeyed God at all times. Yet, God allowed some really terrible things to happen in Jobs life.

Imagine, for a second, if someone came up to you and said, all of your children, and their spouses and children were visiting each other, all in the same house, and the house collapsed and they are all dead. Immediately after this person gives you this horrifying information, another person appears and tells you that all of the money you’ve invested in the stock market was bad investments and now you are penniless. At the same time, you receive a cell phone call from your boss who tells you that your service is no longer required. As soon as you hang the phone up, you look out the window and see a huge truck backing into your brand new Mercedes and totally destroying it. Before you can turn around, the phone rings again. This time, it’s your spouse calling to say that s/he is in love with someone else and will be leaving you, effective immediately.

Can you even imagine that?

I can’t even fathom that all happening in one day. If it did, I will have to be honest with you—it would be REAL hard for me to be positive after having a day like that one.

But even though all of these things happened to Job, he still didn’t speak badly of God and God ends up blessing Job with three times more than what he had taken away from him.

There will be times in your life when everything seems to be against you. It is at those times when I stand up and shout, “HOLD ON!”

Hold on because it WILL get better.

Hold on because your blessings are coming.

Hold on because although some things may be taken away from you, God can restore them—and then some.

Hold on because there is always tomorrow.

Remember, all things happen for a reason and if you are not able to SEE the reason at the moment when you are losing your job, losing your spouse, losing your home, HOLD ON.

Sooner or later, you WILL be able to understand when that job you were terminated from gives you the free time you need to start your own business, or get hired on a job that allows you to live your life’s purpose. When getting rid of that spouse, opens the door to true love and happiness with your soul mate. When you discover that in the attic of the house you lost, was asbestos and would have caused you or the ones you loved ill health.

There is ALWAYS a silver lining. Just HOLD ON. God is ALWAYS with you.

Winning the Thought Battle

August 9th, 2007

If you have read my articles or heard me speak, you know that I always come
down to action. We need to act if we are going to be successful!

Yet, our success starts long before our actions. In fact, our success begins
in our thoughts.

The process is that thoughts become actions and actions produce results. So
the equation starts with the thoughts. So the key to success is to start
with and control the thoughts that we have. Good thoughts become good
actions become good results.

But there is this predicament we have as humans. It is this “battle” we have
with our thoughts. Thoughts of depression, negative thoughts, thoughts of
fear etc constantly creep into our minds and cause us to act in certain ways
that are going to produce the antithesis of the kind we want that will
produce success.

So what can we do to win the battle with thoughts? Here are a few main
points. Apply these immediately and then constantly and you will be on your
way to winning the thought battle.

Guard your mind. Pretend that behind that forehead of yours is a very
precious thing – your mind – because it is precious. If you had a storehouse
of gold in your house, you would hire an armed guard to stand watch and keep
all the bad guys out. Yet, many of us let any old ting come into our minds.
We need to keep the bad thoughts, the negative thoughts O-U-T! Now when I
say this, I mean both the ones that start in our heads and the ones that
come from external sources.

Proactively place good thoughts in your head. Just like a garden, where you
weed, or pull the bad stuff out, and plant, put the good stuff in, so we do
the same thing with our thoughts. Buy tapes and music that will produce
good, happy thoughts in your head! Watch TV programs and videos that put
good thoughts in your head!

Avoid the naysayers. They are all around you. You work with them, you live
near them – some are even in your family! Whatever you do, do not let them
affect you with their negative thoughts. Spend as little time as you can
with them (unless it is your spouse or kids – then you need counseling!)

Act on the positive thoughts that you do have. When a positive thought comes
into your head, act on it! This will begin to produce a “bridge” between
what you think and how you act! This will then make that transition even
easier as time goes by!

Four key ideas to win the thought battle:
Guard your mind.
Proactively place good thoughts in your head.
Avoid the naysayers.
Act on the positive thoughts that you do have.

Go forth and Win the Battle!

How to Save Yourself from Negative Influences

August 9th, 2007

Watching the news can be hazardous to your health.

It’s a fact, especially when you’re watching events related
to terrorism, kidnapping, murder, accidents, or calamities.
These incidents make you worry and will leave you feeling weak
and insecure. Imagine the uncomfortable feeling of becoming a
victim someday. This will have a negative effect on your
outlook in life.

Your surroundings have a big impact on you. How can you think
and grow rich if you’re bombarded with messages that relates
“how difficult life has become” or “how poor most of us has
turned out to be?”

You can’t change your environment, but you certainly can
control your mind. This is where visualization comes into
play. Use your imagination, just as you would when you’re
still a little child. Imagine your home as a palace, your
simple meal as fine dining gourmet, and your nearby park as
your favorite vacation spot. Just imagine. Unconsciously,
your thoughts will transform the images into their physical
components.

If the media can indirectly influence you just by reporting
what’s happening around, imagine what impact everyday people
have on you. These are the people that you see and meet
everyday. These are also the same people who are expressing
their own views of what is right and what is wrong.

When we grow up in a negative environment, we tend to acquire
the traits and characteristics of people around us.

Many gangsters have been brought up by folks who have either
misguided them or have taught them the wrong things in life.
Through the years, they have instilled within themselves the
vices of people around them.

Here’s another case.

Pick a nice person, throw him in a group of bad-mouthed
individuals who incorporates swear words in their everyday
language. Sooner or later, you’ll notice that nice person
speaking in the same manner as the group.

This just goes to say that anyone who joins in the company
of a like-minded group will have a big chance of being
influenced by the personality of that group. So what
can you do if you’re surrounded by people who deviates
from your way of thinking?

You can’t just avoid them. They’ll think of you as a snob.
Don’t change the way you treat them, but simply learn how
to shield out pessimistic comments or suggestions.

Sometimes, they will dictate you to do what you are against
to do. Be firm with what you believe in. Do not let them
affect your decisions. You know that you can do what they
thought would be impossible. If you have to suffer the
ridicule, so be it. You will have the last laugh anyway.

Moreover, you should be with people who have the same
principles and ideologies as you do. You will be more
encouraged to continue your dreams if you have a support
group or mentor who will prod you to pursue your goals
despite the setbacks.

When I was starting my internet endeavors, no one (and
I mean not even one) of my relatives and friends believed
me. But I did not let their discouragement stop me from
becoming successful.

I remained firm in my quest to make a living online. I
made friends with respected internet marketers who shared
the same vision as mine. They have also experienced the
same treatment from non-believers; but they have proven
that what the mind can conceive, it can achieve. Through
their help, I was able to put aside my doubts and achieve
my goals.

You have the power to make your dreams a reality. Now
show the world what stuff you are made of.
